The alarm system, together with the analysis to find out the possible reasons
and the study of S2Y graphs have been essential to discover the breakdown (derating)
of a specific PV plant.
The inverter was stopping frequently due to Voltage surges
(net variations over the threshold fixed by the Contract Service),
and this was preventing the intake of the energy in the Network.
(see the graph - power curve of the PV plant is red, voltage curve is blue).
All this was creating a big efficiency loss and consequently a considerable money loss.
